Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
The short version
We collect what you type into our form, plus some technical details about the visit. We use it to match you with one IT services provider and to prove you agreed to be contacted. We share it with that provider. We do not sell it to anyone else, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you complete the form, we store:
- Your answers — business size, the technology you use, and what you need help with.
- Your contact details — name, business name, website if you give it, email address and phone number.
- A record of your consent — the exact wording you agreed to, the page you were on, the date and time, your IP address and your browser’s user agent string.
- Verification status — whether your phone number was confirmed by one-time code, and when.
- Advertising identifiers — if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad, the click identifier attached to that visit.
- Form analytics — which steps of the form were shown and which were completed, so we can see where people give up.
Why we keep the consent record
Federal telemarketing rules require us to show that you agreed to be contacted, and to show what you were told at the time. We store the exact wording you saw rather than a reference to it, so an old record keeps its original text even after we update the site. A refusal is recorded too. This record is kept for as long as we may need to evidence it.
Who we share it with
- The IT services provider we match you with. They receive your answers and contact details so they can help you. Providers pay us a referral fee for the introduction; the fee is paid by them, never by you.
- Meta, if you arrived from one of our ads. We send a signal that a conversion occurred, together with hashed contact details, so we can measure which ads work. Hashing means Meta receives an irreversible fingerprint rather than your actual email address or phone number.
- Our service providers. Vercel hosts the site and our database. Twilio sends the phone verification code. GoHighLevel holds our customer records and sends our email and text follow-ups. PostHog and Google Analytics measure how the site and the form are used. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to multiple providers so they can compete over you. One match, one introduction.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number we may send a one-time verification code and messages about your match. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not remove you from email.
Cookies and tracking
We use a session cookie so the form remembers your answers between steps. If you arrived from an ad, we retain the click identifier so we can attribute the conversion.
Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits and see which pages people read. Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies. PostHog records which form steps were shown and completed, from our server, so it sets no cookie in your browser.
The Meta Pixel runs on our pages so Meta can tell us which of our ads led to a visit or a completed form. Meta may set its own cookie to do that. You can control how Meta uses this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. We don’t use any other advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Contact details and answers are kept while we are actively helping you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Consent records are kept longer, because they exist to evidence an agreement that may be questioned years later. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sharing described above. Write to [privacy@helpdeskharry.com] and we will respond.
Deleting your information does not retrieve it from a provider we have already introduced you to — you would need to contact them directly for that.
Children
This service is for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Consent records keep the wording that applied when they were captured.
