Terms of Service

Helpdesk Harry is a free matching service. You tell us about your business and what technology you use, and we introduce you to an independent IT services provider in your area that we believe fits your needs.

We are not an IT services provider. We do not install, monitor, repair or manage any of your systems, and we do not supply hardware, software or licences.

The service is free to you. We never charge you a fee, and nothing about your match depends on you paying us anything.

Providers in our network pay us a referral fee when we introduce a business to them. This is how the service is funded. Paying a referral fee does not by itself qualify a provider for our network — providers are assessed before they can participate, and are removed if they no longer meet our standards.

We disclose this so you can weigh it. If you would rather research providers independently, that is a completely reasonable thing to do.

A match is a suggestion, not a recommendation you are obliged to act on and not a guarantee of any outcome. We do not warrant the work, pricing, availability, licensing, insurance or conduct of any provider we introduce you to.

Any agreement you enter into is strictly between you and that provider. We are not a party to it, we do not receive a share of what you pay them, and we have no authority to act on their behalf or yours. Disputes about their work are between you and them.

Please give accurate information. A match built on inaccurate answers will be a poor one, and we may decline to match a business where the information given is clearly incorrect.

You must be authorised to share the business information you submit, and the phone number and email address you give must be ones you are entitled to use.

We operate city by city and may not cover your area. If we cannot help, we will say so rather than introduce you to someone we cannot stand behind. We may change, suspend or discontinue the service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this service or from your dealings with any provider. Because the service is free to you, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to one hundred US dollars.
